Ft. Collins Mac User Group
June 19th, 2008
Meeting was at 4926 Northern Lights Drive

Attendance: Jacqualine Carter, Myrna Miller, Paul Carlstedt, Pam Stevens, Andy Hinds, Robert Poland, Jean Poland, Pat Davis Guests: Heidi Batman, Darvel J. Silda

The evening began with general conversation, and exchange of ideas, problems, solutions.

7:15 Pam Stevens, Vice President, called the meeting to order.
She asked everyone to introduce themselves.

Treasurer, Paul Carlstedt reported: May 16, 2008 – June 19, 2008

There was discussion on renting (out) the projector. More information is needed to draft a policy/ cost of new bulbs, longevity of a bulb.

Heidi had several problems which were discussed.

Robert Poland asked if anyone noticed his new logo on fortmac.org. A couple of people noticed the resemblance to Horsetooth Mt.
The website has been visited by most of the guests we have had prior to their coming to the meeting.

Pam introduced Jean Poland who presented a tutorial on Power Point: Slide Layout, Text Formatting, Adding Photos, Movies and Audio. Questions and discussion was accepted during the presentation.
Thanks to Jean Poland for a great presentation.

Pam asked for discussion on a presentation for the July meeting. Decision was to ask Brian do “iDVD” and Pat volunteered to contact Brian.

The next meeting will be July 17th

Brian Lackey called the meeting to order about 7:00 pm

LEOPARD was presented and discussed.
Dues were accepted.
Brian Lackey accepted the door prize, Photoshop Tutorial download.
Paul Carlstedt was asked to let Allnutt know we would not be meeting there any longer. The items we had in storage at Allnutt would be picked up by Brian Lackey and donated to Publlic Schools. (tv, shelves, recorder)
